Dogs and Pets
The statewide rule, from the park system: pets stay on a leash no longer than 10 feet and under control; they are not allowed inside any state park or historic site building, or in public swimming areas and beaches. Read October 30, 2026. This park may add its own limits; we did not find a separate dog rule for Montauk State Park.
