Short version: we collect as little as we can. We use Google Analytics to understand which guides are useful, and we keep what you send us through the contact form. We don’t sell your personal information.
Who we are
It’s Missouri (itsmissouri.com) publishes regional events and things-to-do guides about the U.S. state of Missouri. Questions about this policy can be sent through our contact page.
Information we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, the topic you choose, and your message. We use this only to reply and to fix or improve content.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics 4, which collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location (city or region), device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies. We don’t use it to identify you personally.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records technical data such as IP addresses, browser type, and requested pages for security and performance.
- Comments: comments are currently turned off.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies (for example, _ga) to distinguish visitors and sessions. Our caching and security tools may set short-lived technical cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser opt-out add-on.

Sharing

How long we keep data
Contact form emails are kept as long as needed to handle your request. Google Analytics data is kept according to the retention period set in our Analytics account.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. Contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Children
The site is intended for adults planning travel or a move. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
