Missouri’s big lakes are mostly Army Corps of Engineers reservoirs, plus Lake of the Ozarks, which Ameren Missouri manages the shoreline of and says has 1,150 miles of shoreline. Eight state parks sit on them.

Acres and shoreline miles appear only where an official page printed them; the Corps district sites would not load for us, so many cells say “not stated” rather than carry a guess. Read October 30, 2026.
