The Numbers the State Prints
- 93 state parks and historic sites, plus the trails of the Roger Pryor Pioneer Backcountry.
- More than 150,000 acres on the history page; another state page says more than 160,000, so we print the lower figure.
- 3,500 campsites and 194 cabins, and more than 1,000 miles of trail.
What Is Free?
Entry and day use are free; camping, cabins and some tours cost extra. See Missouri State Parks: free entry and dog rules.
