Missouri’s Division of Tourism lists six official interstate welcome centers and 11 affiliate centers, but prints no hours for any of them, so call ahead.
Welcome centers hand out maps and local advice. The official list covers I-44, I-35, I-55 and I-29, plus bureau-run centers in Kansas City, Springfield, Hannibal and other towns. Only the centers whose own pages print hours are shown with hours here.
Six Official State Welcome Centers
The Missouri Division of Tourism lists these as its official welcome centers. All six sit on an interstate. The list prints no hours, so call before you plan a stop around one. Source: Missouri Welcome Centers, page data dated May 26, 2026, read October 31, 2026.

What We Could Not Verify
- Hours for all six official centers and all 11 affiliate centers: the state list prints none.
- How many official centers there are: the list’s intro says five, but it names six (Conway East and Conway West are both listed).
- Whether any center is closed right now: the list prints no status. Call the number shown.
- Older pages name welcome centers in St. Louis and New Madrid, and Kansas City and Hannibal as state centers. They are not on the current list, so we do not list them as state centers.
- Hours for the Springfield, Branson, Lake of the Ozarks, Kansas City and Hannibal centers: their bureau pages did not print hours. Hannibal bureau pages also show more than one street address, so confirm which one is open.
- The date of the state list: May 26, 2026 comes from the page’s data, not from text a visitor can see.
